Viva's
trampolines are galvanised against rust. However well they are protected,
you may still experience slight weathering in time of light rusting,
if this does occur it will appear at the weld joints or under the
padding. This is only surface rust and can be removed with any proprietary
brush on solution, should you so wish. You may also apply petroleum
jelly to the spring holes occasionally, this will extend the frame
life and any possible spring squeaking. The frame and springs have
a warranty against structural failure due to rust.
Padding needs to
be flexible and move with the jump mat. Obstructing them will cause
tears in the stitching which is not covered by the guarantee. Do not
lean on the padding whilst observing a trampolinist as this will restrict
the movement and cause tearing. Please do not allow small children
to pull them selves up by the padding as this too causes damage which
is exempt from cover. We suggest a ladder for six years plus ( youngest
recommended age ). The ladder should be removed after trampolining
to avoid unauthorised use as parents have only one pair of eyes in
the back of their heads!
Pets will damage the surface of the jump
mat, this will not be covered by warranty. (Cigarette and bon fire
burns will also not be covered).
Overloading the trampoline beyond
the recommended weights will cause damage which is also not covered
by the warranty. We can test for damage caused by overloading at our
factory.
The trampoline should be sited on level ground, a lawn is
ideal. Locating the trampoline on hard surfaces will cause stress
to the frame which could inturn cause damage.
Trampolining is a very
safe and fun family activity if a few simple rules are followed.
Be Healthy! - Have Fun!
You should look after your trampoline if you want to increase its life and your ensure continued enjoyment.
